Many skis in the Blizzard lineup offer better edge grip than most other skis in their respective price categories. The Viva 7.4 is no exception to this rule and all of our testers initially thought that this ski would sell for a higher price than it actually does. From the edge grip and energy perspective, this ski has enough performance for almost any advanced skier and would make a great teaching tool for a Midwestern ski instructor. The Viva 7.4 is versatile enough for a bit of softer snow but considering its relatively narrow width , we still tend to relegate it to mostly groomed or packed conditions with an occasional foray into the bumps.
